My deepest condolences to the Komrowski family. I had the pleasure of working with Karen at the Red Creek CSD. She was a fierce advocate for children and always was there to do what was best for each student. Her personality was so cheerful and bright that it contributed to our school being known as a wonderful place to be. I will miss her.

Harry, I am very sorry for your loss. I have run into you and Karen many times over the years and you two constantly remind me that maple is more than a business... it is a calling ( or as some say a "disease). Please understand that your "maple" friends are here if you need any help in this difficult time.

Our family was blessed to have known Karen. She is the dear mother of my best friend, Jill. Karen was always so pleasant and loving. I would look forward to going to Art and Jill’s house when Karen and Harry came into town. Especially during Christmas time, Karen made the best decorated sugar cookies! I loved sitting at the table with her and listening to all the stories about Jill and her brothers. Karen will be missed, but always remembered.
We will be praying for Harry and the family.
Much love-
Eric, Sarah, Connor and Ellie Ice

Karen was one of the kindest, most lovely, and intelligent women that I have ever known. She was beautiful inside and out. I will always treasure the times that we spent together and will forever be grateful for having known her.

A beautiful life well-lived. If the measure of a life is the number of smiles you create, Karen attained the highest level of living. A loyal daughter, a devoted wife, and a proud and loving mother.
What I loved most about Karen is that she possessed an attribute that represents the highest level of human decency—-civility. She was profoundly kind, immeasurably understanding, relentlessly curious, and demonstrated patience, kindness, and interest in everybody she encountered. A rare characteristic indeed.
But to me, she was my mother-in-law. The wife of the best father-in-law ever, the mother of three kind, intelligent, talented children, including my beautiful wife, and the best mother-in-law I could ever imagine having.
Thank you Mom for the great 36 year relationship we had. I consider myself blessed and fortunate to have had you be such an important part of my life. Your example helped make me a better son to my parents, a better parent to my children, and most poignantly, a better husband to your daughter.
Thank you. I love you and I miss you forever.

We loved it when we all went to the house and we made cider, Karen would make us donuts and her yummy carrot cake. She got so much pleasure out of it and she looked forward to it just as much as we did. You will be dearly missed Karen, truly a great and loving woman.
