Our Staff

All of the funeral directors at Falardeau Funeral Home, Inc., are graduates of Accredited Mortuary Science Schools and are current members of the New York State Funeral Directors Association.


Albert C. Clos
Owner and ​Licensed Manager 

Albert graduated in 2008 from Simmons Institute of Funeral Service where he earned his Associate's degree. After serving his residency with Farone & Son Funeral Home in Syracuse, he worked with his father at Clos Hearse Service. Albert began working with Falardeau Funeral Home in 2013 in various aspects of the funeral service.

In September 2020, Albert bought the property at 93 Downer Street and became the owner and licensed manager of Falardeau Funeral Home, Inc.

Albert and his wife, Samara, and their three children reside in the main residence of the funeral home.

Mary Falardeau Reed
Licensed Funeral Director

Mary graduated in 1988 from Niagara University with her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. In 2004, she earned her Master’s degree in Health Care Administration from New School University and worked in the Health Insurance Industry for over 18 years. Mary graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in January 2016 with her Associate’s degree in Funeral Service and completed her residency in February of 2017.

Mary is a communicant of St. Mary's Church and volunteer at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. She resides in Baldwinsville with her husband Michael and they have 2 grown children, Samantha Reed Clark and Daniel Reed.

Steven Buck
Licensed Funeral Director

Steven lives in Canastota with his Fiancee Sara Scott and attends St Agatha's Parish. Steven attended Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute for fine arts and Mohawk Valley College for Graphic Arts & Design. He continued on in the graphic arts industry with A&P Master Images for several years before redefining his career path to cater to the needs of families. Steven began serving families in 2013 at Eannace Funeral Home in Utica and graduated in 2015 from the American Academy McAllister Institute for Funeral Service in Manhattan with his Associate’s degree in Funeral Service. He has been licensed since February 2018. In March 2018, Steven joined the team at Falardeau Funeral Home to continue satisfying the trust our families have put in us.

As member of Organization of Competition Bodies, Steven has placed in several body building competitions. As a nature lover, he has enjoyed many of New York's waterfalls and lakes, claimed 5 of the 46 high peaks and other beautiful mountains throughout the Adirondacks. He overcame one the hardest competitions at Killington, Vermont in a Spartan Beast Race, enjoys sky-diving, free diving the Caribbean, spelunking, and any other thrill you can throw his way.
