Wendy, Todd, and Don,
I was sorry to hear about your dad. I only have fond memories of the years that I taught with him. His laugh is unforgettable; he was a 'character'. I am sorry that I was away during calling hours and the funeral. Please know that I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

In ny youth I only knew him as Mr. K and he was my gym coach at Durgee. Many years later in life, I met him again as a member of the Syracuse Brigadiers. A man I respected as teen, became a good friend and I was very fond of him. Always in good spirits, friendly, and a good good man. Rest in peace Don(he let me call him Don as an adult as well as his secret nickname) you will be missed.

I only knew Mr. Kasmer for a few years when I coached his son’s early baseball team. Mr. Kasmer was always supportive to me and encouraging which was very appreciated. His smile is a continuing blessing in my memory. God bless his family.

Don and I coached against each other in basketball and football. Battled on the court, but became dear friends off the court. He was an outstanding coach, leader of men, person, and friend. Gave to us all so much. Don you are not the resting type, os I hope they have golf , basketball, and lots of things for you to lead. I am sure you are with your dear wife now. Tom Muench
