Thomas F. Walser, 89, of Baldwinsville passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Crouse Hospital. Tom was born in Syracuse and lived in the area most of his life. He was a graduate of CBA in Syracuse and attended LeMoyne College. He retired from Marine Midland Bank in N. Syracuse in 1990 after over 30 years of service. Tom was a member of the Baldwinsville First Baptist Church where he taught religious instruction, was a deacon and a trustee of the church. He also served in the Army National Guard. Tom was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Weller Walser in 2017 and two sisters, Ann Walser Reilly and Jean Walser Alexander. Surviving are his son, Thomas M. (Brenda) Walser; daughters, Denise J. (David) Pearsall, Michelle G. (Warren) Kelly, and Kathryn A. (Christopher) Long; grandchildren, Melanie, Brian, Jason, Daniel, Zachary, Brayden, Micah, Emily, Victoria, Amanda, Elayna, and Dustin; great-granddaughters; Joy, Evelyn and Adeline; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 10:00am – 12:00 noon, Saturday, August 25 at the First Baptist Church, 22 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville with services to follow at 12:00 pm. A reception will follow in the church hall. Donations may be made to Crouse Health Foundation, 736 Irving Ave., Syracuse, NY 13210 in memory of Thomas F. Walser.
