Tom, Dave, Bill and Susan,
I'm so very sorry and sad to read that Bev is gone. What a treasure she was. While I am glad her suffering on this earth is over, I will always remember her for her kindness, welcoming spirit and the love in her eyes for every visitor to 204 DeWittshire Road. I have so many memories of you all, Doug and Bev from that home - Toby and Hanna, Hockey Night in Canada in the basement, street hockey in the driveway until all hours (reasonable hours, that is, that were enforced by Doug) thanks to a flood light, trips to Canton eating ham sandwiches and stopping at antique barns on the way to a SLU Hockey game, the paper route, my attending SLU, Blanchard corner at the War Memorial, but especially Bev - the matriarch who made each and every person feel very special in her presence. It was a God given gift that she freely shared. I will always remember her. And 204 will always be "the Blanchard's" in my mind, no matter how many owners follow. I hope to see you all at her celebration of Life later this spring. Pat Gillson

Dear Tom and Family, When my mom passed a friend sent this to me:
"We will forever miss our mothers, those extra ordinary women who brought us to
this Grant Dance, and taught us how to move gracefully through it."
My deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear mother.

Such a wonderful lady. Although we had not seen her in several years, we have fond memories of her. She is at peace and in the comfort of her "Dougie". Our sympathy and prayers to each of you.
