I was greatly saddened by the news of Rod’s passing. I always looked forward very much indeed to seeing him at the EAIA meetings and was delighted that he made it to Sturbridge. Always incredibly kind and helpful, he will be sorely missed by all his “old tool” friends. My deepest condolences to you, Denise, and to all his family. We have lost a true gentleman.

How we will miss Rod! Always cheerful & helpful. He was my knight in shining armor on more than one occasion but chiefly at Pleasant Hill KY Shaker Village EAIA Annual meeting. I was having some much trouble walking with my awful knee but each time I needed to get somewhere, Rod was there readying my chariot (golf cart). Know his family will miss him a LOT but his EAIA family will also miss him HUGELY. Rest in peace, Rod -- you have been loved by many. Bill & Judy

Dear Denise and Family,
Rodney was my favorite EAIA member and friend. He was a tireless volunteer and always had a smile for me. I loved his sense of humor, and his willingness to help in any way he could. The EAIA meeting at Pleasant Hill has been my favorite EAIA Annual Meeting because of you and Rodney. I will forever hold in my memory an image of Rod, soaked to the skin at the wheel of a golf cart in the pouring rain getting EAIA members wherever they needed to go! We will be missed greatly by so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,
Paul and Eileen

I can't tell you how much I will miss Rod at the EAIA meetings. He was one of the people I always looked forward to seeing. He was a hard worker and a good man, who was a great help to EAIA. I am so glad that he got to attend the meeting at Sturbridge this past May and that I got to talk to him there.
