Rick, Annemarie, Elaine and Dirk,
Sorry to hear of the death of your mom. I remember her from way back in cub scouts, as a nurse for Sturtz and Brown, and then from the neighborhood for all those years. when we were no longer hanging out and had started our own families I started trick-or-treating with my own children at your parents' residence just to have the opportunity to stop and chat. Those were great experiences. Not too long ago my daughter was showing me some photos from a party she attended for one of her friends. I immediately new the residence as your parents place. For me it will always be the Barry's home and will hold a lot of special memories. Hopefully, you will all have similar experiences and they will help you get through this very tough time.
