Naivie A. Elhage Moses, 96, of Baldwinsville passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016, at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Fulton where she attended Fulton Schools. She was a Woman's Army Corps veteran of WW II and belonged to the Baldwinsville VFW. She started and operated the Moses IGA in Baldwinsville with her husband in 1952 until his brothers joined him in 1957. She worked part-time for LaValle Research in Syracuse for 20 years and part-time for the Baldwinsville School District. Naivie was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville and a former member of its Altar Rosary and Mothers Club. She also belonged to the Baldwinsville Women's Garden Club. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1997; a sister Shehia Astafan and five brothers, Francis, Naïve, Hider. Thomas and Ferris Surviving are a daughter, Jody A. (Dale A.) Spilman of Baldwinsville; a son, Albert J. Moses of Hershey, PA; two grandchildren, Joseph C. Moses and Hanna T. Moses; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Friday, December 30, 2016, in St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Thursday, December 29, 2016, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027, Parkinson's Disease Research, C/O Michael J.
