Dear Jody, Al & family,
It's sadness I feel for you, your family, and all of us that adored your mom.
I do, however, have many fond, happy and fun memories of Naivie.
I met Jody in high school and became a lifelong friend and that's when I met her family. My earliest memories of "Mrs. Moses" were her smile, her endless amount of energy and her welcome friendliness whenever we came to see Jody.
I remember one time seeing her at the local mall conducting a census poll for the research company she worked for. She called out to us. Jody was a little self conscious but giggled like only she and her mother could. Of course, once they started it was contagious.
Each year when I've come home to Bville to visit it would include breakfast with Naivie, Jody and I. She would share her stories of her military experiences which would always leave Jody and I in hysterical laughter. What great adventures she had!
In later years the visits were to the care facility. It was heartbreaking at times but memories I shall cherish always. My last visit was in August and I will be forever thankful for that.
What will forever stand out for me though was the beautiful mother/daughter relationship I saw during those visits. Caring, devoted and tender.
A love we should all be so lucky to have.
Rest peaceful now Mrs Moses. I know you're with your husband at last.
