Dear Extended Donnelly Family,
Shawn, Mary Ann, Brian and our parents all extend our sympathies to you during this time and are sorry we will not be able to see you during the wake or funeral. We are truly sorry to hear of your loss and this news has certainly triggerred a number of memories for me. My favorite memories of Mr. Donnelly are the nights when he had responsibility for driving us home after track practice or attending a basketball game -- he was always the perfect gentleman and could remain calm under any and all circumstances. He was clearly devoted to all of you and please know you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Betty,
We remember the Donnelly family very well from Dexter Parkway days. Harriet still remembers the first day of school when most of the mothers on the street were upset about the kids' going to school for the first time. When someone asked you why you were crying, the answer was because Eddie wasn't old enough to go that year. . .
John remembers many Legion of Mary visits with Ed first as his trainer and then as partner. He was a wonderful guy and you and the family are in our prayers.
Love,
Harriet and John

To the Bisson, Donnelly, Gentile & Schnorr families and loved ones of Mr. Donnelly, Ed will be missed!
A fond memory of Mr. Donnelly doesnt involve Kris or I, but a neighborly act of kindness that occurred between our Dads. While Mrs. Donnelly was seriously hospitalized a number of years ago, my father was assigned the task of delivering some home cooked meals to Mr. Donnelly. While exchanging pleasantries, Mr. Donnelly inadvertently let the door close behind him, which locked him out of the house. The two elder gentlemen put their heads together to get Mr. Donnelly back in the house on a cold winter day. Its a site to imagine this team work and break in daily routine for them. It included another neighbor, a locksmith, and a few phone calls. As I recollect, it always makes me smile. Just the way, I think Mr. Donnelly would like to be remembered.
