Joseph D. Falardeau, 47, of Baldwinsville passed away unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon at St. Josephs Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Joe was a graduate of Baker High School in 1984 and a 1990 graduate of Simmons Institute of Funeral Service, where he earned an Associates degree. He was a lifetime communicant and usher at St. Mary’s Church in Baldwinsville. Joe was a member of the National, New York State and Central New York Funeral Directors Associations. In 1990, He joined his father Don in the family funeral business, becoming the third generation to own and operate the Falardeau Funeral Home. Joe brought along his love of technology, and his computer expertise was a valuable asset to the business. Joe had a lifelong passion for music, which led to the creation of “Bogus Music Studios”, his recording label. In his studio he enjoyed his weekly recording sessions with his friends. Joe also used his studio to provide an outlet for local talent to record their music. Many fun gatherings with family and friends took place in his studio, creating wonderful memories for all. Above all, Joe loved his family. His children were his greatest joy! He and his wife recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary with the trip of a lifetime on the Mediterranean. Survivors: His wife of 20 years, Suzanne Daws Falardeau, his children; Emily and Jeffrey; his parents, Don and Helen Falardeau of Baldwinsville; his siblings and their spouses, Yvette and Scott Babiyan of Skaneateles; Jeffrey and Karen Falardeau of Columbus, OH; his twin sister, Mary and Michael Reed of Baldwinsville; many aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be, Monday 11:00am at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are SUNDAY 1:00-5:00pm, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville.
