Rev. Wade A. Jarrett, of Baldwinsville passed away Saturday at St. Josephs Hospital. He was a graduate of Syracuse University and attended Union Theological Seminary in NYC. He was a United Methodist Pastor for many years, serving in Mottville/Skaneateles, Coopers Plains/Presho, Montour Falls, Remsen/Prospect, Geneva, and was currently serving as Pastor of both the Little Utica and Warners United Methodist Churches. Wade loved to read and study. He had an enthusiasm for new ideas. He would research the history of every community he served. Wade was the current President of the Board of Directors for Watson Homestead Conference and Retreat Center. He was predeceased by an infant daughter. Survivors: his wife of 17 years, Bonnie Jarrett of Baldwinsville; his daughter, Elizabeth (Brian) Sugar of Solvay; his son, Matthew Jarrett of NYC; 2 stepsons, David (Debbie) Cole of Poughkeepsie and Jeffrey (Cynthia) Cole of NC; 7 grandchildren; his brother David (Connie) Jarrett of Baldwinsville; 1 aunt, Elizabeth Jarrett of Camillus; many cousins and friends. Services: 1:00pm Friday at Liverpool First United Methodist Church, 604 Oswego St., Liverpool, NY 13088. Burial, Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners, NY. Calling hours are 4-7pm Thursday at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St. Baldwinsville. Contributions: in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to, Watson Homestead Conference and Retreat Center, 9620 Dry Run Rd., Painted Post, NY 14870 or either the Little Utica or Warners UMC.
