I had the pleasure to meet Rev. Jarrett when he agreed to perform a Memorial Service for my Mother. He was so comforting and accommodating during a very difficult time. I can say, even in the little time I had the opportunity to spend with him, the world has lost an amazing man. My sympathy and thoughts are with the family of Rev. Jarrett.

Dear Jeff & Cindy,
We were so sorry to hear of the loss of Wade.
We only slightly knew him and your mother through the baptisms, but it was clear how much his religion and family meant to him. We are sure that God has his arms around him now. May God's love help your mother and all of you through this difficult time.
God Bless You.

We will surely miss Rev. Jarrett. His thoughtfulness and prayers for my husband an myself as we go through our own personal trials will never be forgotten. He has made our spiritual life more important to us and given us a real sense of what being a Christian is. We send our prayers to the family and hope they find the strength from God they will need.

Doug and I were so shocked, so deaply sorry to hear of Wade’s passing. I thought of all the years we have known him and how he touched our lives. Wade seemed to wear his faith on the outside for all to see. It was a light we basked in in those short times we could see him at the different reunions and family functions. I always felt so privileged to be able to see him has himself and not the minister on the pulpit even though he really was the same on the pulpit as he was off it. We would always wait anxiously for him to arrive at each family reunion. The questions always asked were “Is Wade coming? When will he be here? Of course he was always late and when he finally drove up there was always a silent sigh of relief as if the reunion was not complete unless he was there.
Wade performed our marriage ceremony 38 years ago. I once asked him how many of the marriages he performed survived the test of time. He told me he had the national average of about 50% and he seemed disturbed by that fact like it was a failing his rather than of the parties involved. I always told him it has worked for us!
The last time I spoke to him, he told me that he would never retire. He couldn’t see himself doing anything else. Well, as always, God has the last word. Wade has finally retired and I hope he is basking in the peace of heaven where he is joyfully awaiting our inevitable arrival. It is his turn to ask “Are they coming?” “When will they be here?”

Dear Bonnie & Family, We were so saddened to hear of Rev. Jarrett's passing, He was a gracious man of God who told me once " It's not how you practice your belief in God, what's important is that you do believe!" This has made all the difference in our lives. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family as you navigate through this time of sorrow.

Bonnie and family, We were so sorry to hear about Wade. He was a wonderful minister at our church in Geneva. We loved when he baptised the babies, then walked them around the santuary and talked to them. He gave wonderful sermons. It was very hard when they left our church. Love, Barb Warner and Bonnie Riley.
