To the family of Gordon Marks: My deepest sympathy for your lose, I only knew him for a short time as I was the person who cleaned his apartment. He was the sweetest man and always had a smile on his face and kind words. If you were down his smile would bring you up. He was the type of person you were proud to call your friend. Caleen Tanner

Gordon will be missed by so many people. I will never forget his never-ending smile and his clever remarks. Most of all, I will never forget his smile when my 7-year-old daughter would get invited to ride on his electric wheel chair with him! They both would giggle and take off, knowing I was a little nervous about him letting her drive it herself!!! He would look back at me and grin. The apartments aren't quite the same without him here. We will miss him so much. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

From ALL of us at Old Erie Place,Thank You, the Marks family, for letting Gordon become part of our family. He not only was a great neighbor, but quite the conversationalist also. He was such an inspiration to us all and displayed his very witty outlook with his smile and chuckle that will not soon be forgotten. He'd enter a room and it would seem to bighten most everybody's day. Thank you again for sharing him with us. (I'll personally miss kissing the top of his head)

For the family of my good friend, I was so sorry to hear of Gordon's passing. He was so upbeat all the time, and never seemed to let his many trials bother him. He always called me Sally, as there are three other Shirleys in our Senior Group, and that was how he kept us separataed.
I shall miss his cheery presence.
My condolences to all of you, you are in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. I don't remember your dad all that much, but I do remember you all being able to get together with the gang on Parkway Drive. I will say a prayer for you all that you have peace at this difficult time. You may contact me if you like.

To Gordy's Loving Family,
I met Gordy a few years ago through a mutual friend at the Jordan Fall Fest and had many opportunities after that to enjoy his company. He had an unique way to make you smile immediately, and to keep a smile on your face whenever you thought about him...
I just want to offer my condolences to you all...he will be sadly missed by EVERYONE that has ever met him...
