My deepest condolences to John's family. I was shocked to see that John passed at such a young age. I haven't seen him in a long time, didn't know he was sick. I worked with him before he went to Novelis. He was a great guy, always a smile on his face and fun to be around. He will be missed by many.

I had the pleasure of knowing "Mosh" from our early years at West Genesee, and a more engaging and nice person you'd have a hard time meeting. From childhood to senior citizen is a long story that seems to go too fast when you hear of the passing of a peer and friend, as the memories are of the energy and joy of youth. John lived his life to the fullest as I would see on his Facebook page with comments and pictures of he and his bride's adventures in various locations all over the country.....Oh, how I envied his freedom when I would still be working at my desk, but still taking pleasure in the fact that someone I knew was enjoying the most out of life. And that is what we should all take from John's life, it isn't how long we are here, it's how we spend our time and the people we touch during our short time here. Mosh was that kind of person.
My Deepest Condolences to John's beloved wife, children, siblings and extended friends and family.
May we share a stogie over a campfire somewhere someday and talk about our youth and the friends we made and loved.
May God Bless you and may you R.I.P., my friend.

John was my Oswego neighbor, just down the hall In onondaga. We had many laughs and beers together. Everyone loved John, never speaking an unkind word of others and always making us smile. I was lucky enough to keep in touch while visiting his neighbor... my goddaughter, in Cape Vincent. My heart goes out to Debbie and John's family, Hold the laughter and joy he shared close. With all my love, Susan ( Mastine ) Fix.

As a fellow Oswego grad, I was lucky enough to get to know John through two of his favorite past times ...Sports & social life (i.e. beer). I'm thankful he went the extra yard to stay in touch over many years, and found the time to visit us in San Diego with his lovely wife. Debbie, my sincere condolences. And to you and the family I didn't know, it is a privilege to own the memories of a fine person the world could certainly use more of.

John was simply a high quality guy. His love for his bride, his passion for work, travel and fun were all exceedingly high. He and Debbie had a direct impact on how my wife, Annemarie, and I are spending the first few years of retirement. His laughter was infectious and his friendship truly valued. I will miss him. May god hold Debbie and Michael in the palm of his hand.

I am so sorry for your loss. I’m thankful I was able to spend time with John and Debbie at their place in the 1000 Islands during the summer of 2010 with a mutual friend. Their generosity was unparalleled. He lived a full, rich life. Cheers to my Oswego friend.
