Obituary of Carol A. Carr

It is with great sadness that Carol Ann Carr's family announces her passing. Carol, 76, of Baldwinsville, passed away on March 5, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Frank and Amy Wiktorek on January 8, 1945 in England. Carol graduated from CCBI in Syracuse, NY. After raising her children with love and devotion, Carol worked many years for the Liverpool Central School District in various administrative support positions. Carol's hobbies included cross-stitching, reading mysteries, beading, and card making. Carol loved to spend time visiting her family as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; she also treasured going places with her many friends. In her retired years, Carol volunteered her time and talents with various programs at Century Village in Deerfield Beach, FL, where she and her husband have lived during the winter months for the past 20 years. Carol was actively involved in the Nature Club and The Reporter (the local paper for Century Village). Carol is survived by her husband of 55 years, William F. Carr Jr., and four children: Timothy (Grace) Carr, of Stamford CT; Kathleen (Rick) Hedges, of Colonial Beach VA; Colleen (Donald) Stone, of Liverpool, NY; and William (Norma) Carr III, of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by her grandson: Peter Carr (Bill and Norma); step-grandson: Jason Liu (Tim and Grace); and brother: David (Barbara) Wiktorek, of Binghamton NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church in Baldwinsville, NY. The burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital can be made in Carol's name.
