Hi Anne,
Kathy and I would like to express our sincere condolences to you and your family.
As you know John had a profound impact on my career at the Sheriff's Office. He was largely responsible for my interest in the crime scene program and for me becoming a "lab rat."
I also spent many a fine day in your backyard learning about John's favorite pastime.
He will be missed. We are sorry we will not be there for his service, as we are home in Florida at this time.
We will be thinking of you and S.John and remembering those times we spent together.
All our best.
Dan and Kathy Ruscitto

Rest in peace John, it was a pleasure to have known you. We shared some good times, particularly taking your Sportster home from Syracuse and running out of gas pulling into the gas station. You will be missed. Thank you for your service to both our community and country.

John was one of the first Deputies I met when I started in Baldwinsville, in 1977. I never once worried about John showing up when needed because he always did. John you will be missed. Our last conversations about guns was educational and well received. I only wish both of us had been healthy enough to sit and chat for a few hours. It is hard to lose people in our lives that helped in so many ways over the years. God Bless John and safe hunting. Mark Augustus

To Ann and the entire family, I wish to offer my deepest sympathy’s on the passing of John. He was an amazing man who touched so many lives and I cannot explain how grateful I am, to have had the opportunity to call him my friend for the past 12 years. He truly was one of a kind and he will be greatly missed, but his memory will be with us forever.
Sincerely, Jonathan Knickerbocker

I had the pleasure of working with John in the late 60's thru his retirement. John was a true gentlemen and was an "Old School Cop". He brought credit to the Sheriff's Department and we could always depend on John for level headed advice. May you rest in peace..
