Betty E. Alderman, 94, passed away Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Utica, NY to the late Sanford and Cerelia Tillotson. Betty enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a homemaker and raised 20 foster children over her lifetime and loved them as they were her own. Betty was a prayer warrior and faithful charter member of the Faith Baptist Church in Baldwinsville. Betty is predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Alfred, son, Gerald, and brothers, George and Robert Tillotson. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Revette; sister-in-law, Sandra Tillotson; foster children, Dorothy Dunham, Mary Ryan, John Eisele, Vivian Williams, Diane Crossman, and Melinda Grems, and numerous other foster children and grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 4-6 pm Monday, March 9 at Faith Baptist Church, 7312 VanBuren Rd, Baldwinsville followed by a 6 pm Service at the church. A graveside service will be at 10 am Tuesday, March 10 in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Faith Baptist Church, 7312 VanBuren Rd, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
