Marjorie "Nancy" Haskell, 88, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was born in Elizabethtown, NY and lived in the Baldwinsville area for most of her life. Nancy was a Medical Assistant for a pediatrician's office in Baldwinsville for many years. She loved reading which led her to work at the Baldwinsville Library after retirement. Nancy enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidering, and playing scrabble. She loved playing the piano and singing. Nancy is predeceased by her sister Jean McCasland. Nancy is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert C. Haskell; daughters, Kathryn (Dennis) Patenaude of Halfmoon, NY and Joan Haskell of Anchorage, AK; sons, Robert (Melanie) Haskell, Jr. of Zionsville, IN and David Haskell of Baldwinsville, NY; grandchildren, Timothy Haskell and Ian, Daniel and Benjamin Wright; sisters, Margaret Schockner of Big Flats, NY, Naomi Markle of Jacksonville, FL, and Billie Ann Wilson of San Diego, CA; brother, Charles Lobdell of New Port Richey, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Services are 1:00pm Sunday, September 29 at First Universalist Church of Central Square, 3243 Fulton Ave, Central Square, NY 13036. Calling hours will be Saturday, September 28, 2:00 to 4:00 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Universalist Church of Central Square or the Alzheimer's Association.
