Obituary of John F. Kotlik

John F. Kotlik, 97, passed away peacefully on July 13. He was born in Buffalo, NY to John G. and Frances Kotlik. John served as a WW II Infantry Officer and a Company Commander in the US Army. He also served as a Captain in the Army Reserves. He graduated from the University of Buffalo and was previously employed as a Chemist for Hanford Pharmaceuticals in Syracuse. John enjoyed music and home projects, but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family. John is predeceased by his son-in-law, William Peters, and 3 brothers and 1 sister. John is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Ann Terhorst Kotlik; daughters, Karen (Mike) Kallet, Debbie (Dave) Meyer, and Paula Peters; grandchildren, Jeff Kallet, Kathryn (David) Argento, Melanie and Jill Meyer, and Bobby Peters. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Clear Path for Veterans, 1223 Salt Springs Rd, Chittenango, NY 13037.
