I have had the honor of knowing the Tetraults since I was a young girl. Joe was my father's good friend for as long as I can remember (I'm guessing at over 50 years). Mr.T, as I would call him when I was younger, would take me home after Sunday morning 's first mass, and then I would go back to church with Demi & Mrs. T. My father would come over to pick me up whenever my family got done with Sunday morning events. The Tetraults have had to take care of me a few times when I was sick, and they didn't complain to me at least. I couldn't tell them how much it meant to me back then, because I was very shy. I rarely said a word. Around the Fourth of July, I remember that Mr. T would always have Roman candles to set off.
Not all of them went off without a problem or two. I will always have fond, warm memories of my time with Mr.T. He graciously allowed me to narrow his trumpeet; that was before we found out I had asthma and allergies that made playing difficult.

I only know Joe from St Augustine’s church. He always sat behind me at 5:15 pm mass on Saturday night. Sometimes he would give me his church bulletin when he was done reading it. Sweet man and I will miss him in church.

My sympathetic loving thoughts and prayers are with you Aunt Bea, Debi, Mick, Jim and all of your families at this sad time. As some people journey through life they leave imprints of kindness and love, courage, and compassion. Uncle Joe was very special and I remember his kindness to me personally time after time.
