John Tulloch, 93 of Baldwinsville died on April 2, 2019. He was born and raised in Yonkers NY, the second son of John Stewart Tulloch and Margaret Beckett Tulloch. He was a Radio Technician in the US Navy during WW II and served in the Pacific theatre aboard the USS Bracken. He graduated from New York University in 1950 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for the General Electric Co. until his retirement in 1986. He was a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State. An active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Baldwinsville, he served as an Elder, Clerk of Session, President of the Board of Trustees and on several committees of the Presbytery of Cayuga Syracuse. In 1990 he led the successful efforts to establish an Endowment Fund for the local congregation. His loving wife of 56 years, Dolores Carozza, died in 2006. He is survived by three children, John Stewart (Barbara) of Pittsfield MA, Lynne Beth Stone (David) of Elizabeth WV, and Douglas Alan of Alexandria Bay, four grandchildren, twins, John Stewart Tulloch III (Lori) and Christopher Michael Tulloch and Benjamin David Stone (Susan) and Michael Stewart Stone and three great grandchildren, Charlotte Rose Tulloch, Amelia Grace Tulloch, and John Stewart Tulloch IV. He was predeceased by a brother James Tulloch in 1974. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Baldwinsville on Saturday, April 6th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Syracuse Home Foundation at 7740 Meigs Road in Baldwinsville.
