Obituary of Jean A. O'Brien

Jean A. O'Brien, 87, passed away Sunday at Crouse Hospital. A native of Malone, NY, she lived in Watertown from 1953 to 1976 when she moved to Baldwinsville. Jean enjoyed the theater and loved to go to the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. She adored her grandchildren and spending time with the family. She was known as Gram, Grandma, and Grandma Jean, not only by her grandchildren but by many children close to the family. Jean is predeceased by her husband, Joseph H. O'Brien. Jean is survived by her daughters, Mary Jo Colozzi and Melissa (Tom) Kennedy; sons, Stephen (Barbara) and Craig (Beth) O'Brien; brother, David (Sydna) Armstrong; and 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Calling hours are 4-7 pm Wednesday, March 27, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. Services are 12 pm Thursday, March 28 at the First United Methodist Church, 17 W. Genesee St, Baldwinsville. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 17 W. Genesee St, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 or to the Baldwinsville Ambulance Corp, PO Box 744, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
