Obituary of Jacqueline J. Argersinger

Please share a memory of Jacqueline to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jacqueline (Kaminski) Argersinger, 85, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2018. Jackie was predeceased by her parents, Jane and Victor Pawlewicz, son, Bruce Kaminski, siblings, Reynold Pawlewicz, Victor Pawlewicz, and Ginette Stamm. She is survived by her children, Michelle Evans of Syracuse, Diane Kaminski of Port Byron, Stanley Kaminski of Alaska, and Lisa Acevedo of ME; brothers, Richard Pawlewicz of Hampton, VA and Robert Pawlewicz of Fulton, NY; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jackie was a graduate of Lemoyne College and was one of the first RN graduates of St. Joseph's Nursing School. Jackie worked many years doing private duty nursing at night, eventually working at Carrier Corp. in the Medical Department. After relocating to CT, she worked for Dr. Donald Evans in private practice. Upon returning to Central NY, she became involved with the Liverpool Elks Lodge and Women's Auxiliary, doing volunteer work and was a part-time bartender at 85. She also volunteered her time at Canton Woods Senior Center doing blood pressures. Jackie was a parishioner and volunteer at St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville. She was a member of the VFW, Moose Lodge, and the Polish Home. She has always given of herself without hesitation in the aid of someone in need and wasn't aware of how many lives she touched by her caring and sympathetic ways. She was fiercely independent and had a strong faith in God. The family would like to thank the RNs at St Joe's who rallied to take care of one of their own and a special thanks go to Colleen Zogby, NP, for the compassionate care she provided not only to Jackie but to the family in assisting and guiding them through palliative care for their mom. Firmly believing in angels, Jackie always said "there's an angel for everything, all you have to do is ask". Be at peace mom and soar with the angels. A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 am Saturday, January 5 at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 3-7 pm Friday, January 4 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery Baldwinsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the Liverpool Elks Lodge #2348, 3730 Coldsprings Rd, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
