We were very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. We worked with both Carol and Steve at Deluxe for many years. Steve was fun to be around and had an infectious grin we will remember him by. Sending prayers to Carol and all of Steve's family for comfort during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. Knew him in school and a couple years later we hung out and had a lot of fun. He had spirit and he also had a great sense of humor. RIP old friend. My condolences to the family.

Steve is my brother-in-law. My first memory of him in my life goes way back. My family lived in the same very rural neighborhood as Steve and his cousin Terry. One day when I was about ten years old, this makes my three older sisters about thirteen(Caroline), fourteen and fifteen, Steve and Terry came walking up to our house and asked if we could go to Terry's house and play softball. Even though his home was at least one mile away our parent said yes, it was a different time.
Well, what a time I had. I experienced a flooding of great joy and fear. I was playing softball with these big teens. We had two teams of three, one teen boy and two Surowick girls on each. Finally, my turn to bat came up. Steve was smiling and quickly walked up closer and closer to me. He pitched, I swung. I hit it, I hit it. And run I did. It was a great day and Steve was a great teenager to me and that day our relationship began. May he rest in peace. My prayers to Carol, Alex, Brittney and Lisa.
