John C. Northrop, 95, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Syracuse Home. He was born in Baldwinsville to John and Anna Comerford Northrop and remained a lifetime resident. John was a WW II Army Air Corp Veteran and retired from NY Telephone. He enjoyed playing golf and gardening.
John is predeceased by his parents and sister, Barbara M. Northrop.
John is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Elizabeth "Beth" Schenck Northrop; children, Nancy Dobbins of Baldwinsville and John Paul (Beth) Northrop of Fort Worth, TX; 5 grandchildren, Catherine, Stephen, Megan, Caitlin, and Emilie; and 5 great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours. Services are at the convenience of the family. Burial is in Riverview Cemetery.
