Richard F. Heyn, 84, of Lysander joined his wife Harriett in the Lord's Kingdom on Monday October 8, 2018. Richard was born in Manchester, Connecticut and as a teen moved to Cherry Valley where he met the love of his life Harriett. He later moved to Lysander for the remainder of his years. Richard loved nothing more than to share and show his love for his wife Harriett and his 3 beautiful girls. His life's days were filled with travel, boating, fishing, and bird watching. And there was nothing he loved more than dancing with his wife Harriett. There were smiles, laughter, and love for all his family and friends. Richard was a dairy herdsman before moving on to be a meat cutter and eventually meat manager. Richard and Harriett established and operated R&H Equipment Company, Inc. for many years. He served his country through years of service in the National Guard. Richard is survived by his daughters, Carla Heyn of Denver, Co, Donna (Dave) Carranti of Memphis, NY, Paula (Jay) Schultz of Saratoga Springs, NY; his brother Ronald (Anita) Heyn of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Jacob (Sophia), Lauren (Josh), Kristen (Andrew), Makayla, Mariah, Celina; great-grandchildren, Riley, Klaire, and Noah; and his dear friend Ruth Hill.
