Mrs. Duger....Chuck and I just found out of Leo's passing, we just want to say how sorry we are. Please accept our condolences.
Leo, throughout the years, had done a lot of work for us at our little horse farm. He put the barn water in, he put in a French drainage system that helped immensely with the mud issue. He put a new septic system in twice....the old one imploded. He also put in a gray-water drainage system for us, paid for by the Town. He even leveled out the mounds of crushed stone that sat in our driveway when we first bought this house back in the 80's.
Both of us being avid hunters back then, we always talked hunting with Leo after the work was done. Our second subject was always horses and how proud he was of the ones he had trained and shown.
I always called Leo when there was work to do, because Leo was always an honest man and never took a dime that he didn't work for.
He was one of the first people that i became friends with when i moved to Baldwinsville and i always considered him a good friend. He certainly will be missed by the many friends he must have had.
Leo was an Icon....you could not say Baldwinsville or Plainville and leave Leo Duger out of the conservation, because Leo was Baldwinsville and Plainville. We all have lost a great friend and a wonderful human being.
May God bless your family; and rest in peace, Leo, I am honored to have know you.

It is sometimes difficult in life to find people to truly admire for selflessness, dignity and joy of life; we unfortunately have one less now. I sincerely hope our loss is someone else’s gain.
My deepest sympathies to the entire Duger family.

Very sorry to hear of Leos passing. He did backhoe work for me over the years and I always enjoyed his company, and it didn't take long for the conversation to turn to deer hunting.
He was a class act and will be missed by the whole B'ville community.

My love and prayers are with you. I can't believe he is gone. He was always so tuff and yet so gentle. Always had time for everyone and always there to help. Loved his Gallant Guy and now they will be together again. He is probably still chewing on Leo's hand. God bless you . You will be truly missed. Love and prayers to his wonderful family.
