Please share a memory of Ellen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ellen (Faulstick) LaPan, 60, of Baldwinsville, passed away on September, 23rd after a long battle with lung cancer. Her wishes were to spend her last few months under hospice care at home surrounded by her friends and family. She never ceased to amaze everyone by her will to stay strong and maintain her positivity throughout. She was a girl scout troop leader for many years and enjoyed camping, vacationing and fishing along the shores of the Outer Banks, watching her children and grandchildren play sports. Her smile and caring nature captured the hearts of many. Ellen is survived by her husband of 37 years, Robert; children, Linda (Kevin) Crockett, Morgan LaPan and Kyle LaPan; grandchildren, Corey Crockett, Cheyenne LaPan, Andrew LaPan and Cameron Crockett; her siblings, Patricia (Faulstick) Erwin, Gregory (Suzanne) Krug, Leonard (Kaitlyn) Faulstick, Shana (Ray) Faulstick, Jesse Brutcher and Jeromy (Andrea) Brutcher; parents, Jim and Cindy Brutcher; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Leonard; mother, Cathleen and stepfather, Ronald. The family would like to say thank you to all of the people who have helped Ellen along the way and a special thank you to various staff members at Crouse Hospital and Hospice of Central New York. Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 26th at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville from 4-7 p.m. Services will be held after calling hours at 7 p.m. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and Hospice of Central New York.
