Chester M. Witkowski, Sr., 79, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at University Hospital. Chester lived in Syracuse all of his life. He enjoyed driving fast and racing stock cars. He loved to visit the marina and his second family at Smokey's Grocery Store to hang out for the day. Chester is predeceased by his mother, Helen Witkowski and uncle and adopted father, Edward Witkowski. Chester is survived by his children, Chester (Mi hong) Witkowski, Jr., Edward (Maryellen) Witkowski, Susan (Frank) Zalewski, Ronald Witkowski, Angelia (Shawn) O'Donnell, and Jeff (Kristy) Witkowski; adopted mother, Rose Witkowski; former spouse, Arlene Witkowski; grandchildren, Amanda, Ericka, Jennifer, David, Breonna, Nikki, Derrick, Konar, McKena, Hailey, and Ava; and 7 great-grandchildren. Calling hours are 2-5 pm Saturday, September 15 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. A Graveside Service is 11 am Tuesday, September 18 at Riverview Cemetery, Tappen St, Baldwinsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital, Upstate Foundation, 750 E. Adams St, Syracuse, NY 13210.
