To the family of Bill:
He was a very special man I will miss his email, his jokes, his special birthday cards, wow were they special! I think he is the only one that sent me one sometimes and I have a big family! Lila and him drove for us a long time and then just Bill did. He was on our board forever. He was a joker thats for sure. Bragged about his family , his grandkids , sons, daughter, the castle omg! the castle he told me someday Donna you can have your 50th anniversary in the castle I said okay! I saw pictures, stories, magazine on it, the lights at the superbowl amazing family he has. His books he wrote I read them all.God Bless you all! Bill we love you!

My deepest sympathy to the Ramsgard family.
I worked with Bill in the Training Department at Niagara Mohawk for several years up until he retired. He always had more faith in me than I had in myself and would give me projects totally out of what I thought was my element -- but I did them--much to my surprise and of totally no surprise to him. He was a lot of fun to work with and he made the work environment enjoyable. We worked hard but happier with his light heartedness.
One memory that comes to mind is the time he wanted to sponsor me in a typing contest that some company was holding for Secretary's Day. The prize was a night somewhere in the Thousand Islands and the entry price was $65. He was going to sponsor me because HE KNEW I would win. He was very persistent, however, I did not enter as I was afraid to disappoint him or have him out the money in the event I lost. But I probably should have done it!
When he retired, he sent me flowers in appreciation for having worked for him. So now as my tribute to you, Bill, and since your only request is lots of flowers -- I have sent you flowers in appreciation of having had the opportunity to work with you.
Thanks for the memories!

Billy was wonderful to three younger girl cousins when we were growing up. What fun visiting Aunt Esther and Uncle Carl! Among other things Billy had hundreds of comic books and a to die for train set. We gathered in his play room and played endless games. As the youngest I almost always lost. As teens we practiced our dancing with him. He even took my sister and I on a movie date with him and Lila!
I cherish so many memories. Love to his beloved family.

To Bill's Family, I am sadden to read of Bill's passing. When he worked at Ni-Mo
and I worked at the round Holiday Inn Downtown he held many of his meetings
with us. Setting up his meetings was always enjoyable as he was so great to
work with. I have many happy memories of those times.
I hope you will find comfort in the memories that are yours to cherish always, and
strength in the companionship of those who share your loss.
Sincerely, Shelly Polge

My sincere condolences to the entire Ramsgard family. I know he will be forever missed. May your fond memories help you to see your way through this difficult time.
I have many fond memories of Bill, he was my mentor, tutor and friend at the Corporate Training Center on Buckley Rd. He was truly "one of a kind". Every Monday, he played the song, Monday Monday, and blared it out loud enough so the bosses in the far corner, two doors down, could also enjoy it as we all did. One of my favorite stories, which I will share, was of the time Bill and I went to Saratoga to conduct a training program. I was observing the master, and after a long day he talked me into going to the Giddian Putnam Restaurant (very swanky for a guy from Mannsville) to have dinner. I had recently transferred from the Nuclear Division and had no idea (but Bill did) about how tightly the expenses were scrutinized in the Corporate World. He convinced me to enjoy a very expensive meal, along with a top shelf beverage....(knowing full well that I would be hauled in on the carpet - to explain myself). We had many good laughs over that and I for one, will never forget what a great and positive influence Bill had on my career.

Bill and Lila were long time good friends for over 60 years. We remember fondly music concerts, hot air balloon escapades, race nights at Vernon Downs, along with Ed and Joanne Younis, and dinner parties at Bill and Lila's home. We received many "quirky" home-made cards from Bill (and Lila) over the years. We loved that man.
