Kenneth John Scott, 85, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away on May 20, 2018 in Pittsford, NY following a brief illness. John was born in Escanaba, Michigan on July 17, 1932 to Kenneth Courtney Scott and Kathleen Cavill Scott. He went to high school at Rapid River Public School and graduated in 1950. He went on to earn a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Tech. John was honorably discharged from the Navy in October 1957. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for General Electric for 36 years. He enjoyed reading, wood working, and golfing. He was involved in the Altar Rosary Society and was the treasurer of McHarrie Towne Residents Association. John is preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Beck Scott, and is survived by his four children: Lisa (Paul) Ferrara, Amy Hulbert, Geoffrey Scott, and Emily (Tom) Scheuermann. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren: Courtney and Alex Ferrara, Joshua, Sean, Alyssa, and Jessyca Hulbert and Brian, Luke, Evan and Anna Scheuermann. Funeral services are 9:30 am Thursday, May 24 at Falardeau Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7 pm Wednesday, May 23 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St. Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
