He spent most of his adult life living in the Village of Phoenix but was originally from Hamilton, Ontario and was very proud of his Canadian roots. He loved classic cars, NASCAR and his Harley. He truly enjoyed his time as a craftsman and contractor, a skill taught to him by his father. He loved his friends and counted many of them as family. Richard was a proud and devoted father to his daughter Allison Maliszewski. Allison lives in North Syracuse with her husband Eric and their two children. He was crazy about his grandbabies, Kadence and Aria.
