Obituary of Claire W. Connors

Claire W. Connors (Johnson), 83, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away peacefully with loving family by her side on Monday, April 16, 2018, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Claire was born in Quincy, MA, daughter of the late Herbert & Clara Johnson (Decoste). Claire lived in Baldwinsville, NY most of her adult life. She was a waitress at the B'ville Diner for many years before her retirement. Claire loved playing BINGO, but her true passion was playing her dice game with family. Claire always kept her change cup ready and let you know it. She loved her yearly Casino trips with her Boston family, twin brother, Herb (Sheila), younger brother, John (Paula) Johnson and niece Joan Lawless. Claire was an avid animal lover and more recently a bird watcher with her daughter, Kathy. Claire is predeceased by her husband James T. Connors, sister, Barbara Bregoli, and step-son, Arthur Connors. She is survived by her children, Bill (Patty) Boardman, of Paragould, AR, Rhonda (Rich) Metz of Liverpool, Carol (Tom) Bidwell of Palermo, Lynette (Norb) Kieffer of Brewerton, Leanne Boardman of Baldwinsville, Kathy Boardman of Baldwinsville, Susan (Chris) Cramer of Liverpool; step children, James (Sigrid) Connors of Groton, Joan Connors of Menifee, CA, Kelly Bliss of Mexico, Thomas (Denise) Connors of Danielson, CT; twin brother, Herb (Sheila) Johnson of Weymouth, MA, brother, John (Paula) Johnson of Holbrook, MA; step-daughter-in-law, Deb Connors of Baldwinsville; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 4-7 pm, Friday, April 20 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville. Services are 10 am Saturday, April 21 at the Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Association of CNY or to the Ronald McDonald House in the honor of Claire's great-granddaughter, Ella Mae Mc Peck.
