Marilynn C. Butcher, 94, of Downer Street Road, Baldwinsville, NY died Tuesday, April 10, at Elderwood at Liverpool following a prolonged illness. She was born in the Town of Villanova on October 21, 1923, the daughter of the late Clifford and Lessie Campbell. Mrs. Butcher was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1941 and Buffalo State. She taught home economics after graduating until 1964. Mrs. Butcher was a member of the Baldwinsville United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Judy (Paul) Calaway of Olmsted Falls, Ohio and a brother, William Campbell of Smyrna, GA. Also, surviving are three grandchildren Joshua, Matthew, and Julie Calaway, all of Olmsted Falls, OH and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Walter N. Butcher; a sister, Genevieve Ivett and a foster daughter, Doris Young. Visitation will be held Friday at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Viewing will be held at the Baldwinsville United Methodist Church, 17 West Genesee St., Baldwinsville, NY at 9:00am Saturday with services to follow at 9:30am. Interment will beat 3:30pm Saturday in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, Town of Hanover, NY. The family suggests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, 17 West Genesee St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
