I knew Earl briefly in college. He was a Proctor high school graduate and was friends with Silvio Zinicola that I had made close friends with. Earl was the best in every way. I'm certain his family treasured him and of course hated to see him leave this world. If one is truly rewarded in the afterlife based on how you were on earth, Earl must be in charge and of course is the social director.
I never stayed close with any of my fellow graduates, which is certainly my loss. Married as a Junior, and a father when I was a senior, family and work took preference over college friendships.
I'm so sorry he moved on at a relatively young age, but we'll all join him someday and talk about old times.
My most sincere condolences to all that loved Earl.
Tom Peters

We are so saddened to hear of Earl's passing.I played softball with Earl on McGuires at Hopkins Road. Earl always seemed to be in a good mood no matter what was transpiring. He was also quite the competitor, always giving his all. There were several times we talked about all of our injuries while sitting in the dugout ( hip replacement, etc. ). He will be deeply missed.
Sincerely,
Ed Ozaroski

Such a memorable teacher. Graciously missed. Many firsts for me in his class.. History was not my strong point and I received my first D in his class. He tutored me and helped me bring it back up to a B. A very caring and thoughtful teacher. Class of '81. Very much loved by his students. Many prayers to all his loved ones.

Earl was my 7th grade colleague for 11 years at Ray Middle School. I remember him fondly as a kind and gentle man, always smiling, with a great sense of humor and a twinkle in his eye. He was loved by his students and respected by his peers.
Someone so special can never be forgotten.
My deepest condolences to you, Pam, and to your extended family.
Love,

We were so very sorry to hear of Earl's passing. Earl was one of the most kindest, gentlest, and caring individuals we have ever known. I was so privileged to have him for a colleague and a next door neighbor at Ray. He will be greatly missed by so many. I have so many beautiful and fun memories of times shared with Earl. His smile and those cherished memories will live forever in my heart. Rich and I are in Florida until April. We are so sorry that we will not be able to be with you on Saturday but we will be thinking of all of you. We send our deepest sympathy and love to all of you and a very big hug to you Pam. God bless you! You are in our thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to Earl's family. He and I grew up in Utica and played together as babies. Our parents lived in the same apartment complex. We reconnected when we moved to Baldwinsville and our son was in his class. 70 is too young. May he now be resting in peace.

I pray for love, light and healing comfort for the family. He is a precious soul that made a difference in so many young people's lives. He was treasured as a teacher in the '70's at Stuart Middle School. May the family find comfort knowing you will see him again. Heartfelt condolences from one of his students! PS...we shared a birthday, at the end of the school year he would say "have a good birthday"! (Heavy heart for all of you.)
