Dolores M. Coates, 87, of Baldwinsville passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018. She was born in Syracuse the daughter of Lewis and Martha Fonda and lived in Baldwinsville all her life. Dolores was employed with General Electric for 19 years, drove a school bus for the Baldwinsville School District and was also previously employed with Kaufmanns Clothing Store. She was predeceased by her husband John "Yippie" Coates in 2009.
Surviving is a son Shawn M. Coates; her brother, Richard L. Fonda of Orlando, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, March 6th at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Services are at 11:00am Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow in Riverview.
