Obituary of Ruth M. Williams

Ruth M. (Veator) Williams, 87, of Baldwinsville passed away Monday at Syracuse Home at McHarrie Place in Baldwinsville to join her husband in Heaven. She was born in Syracuse and lived in Baldwinsville most of her life. Ruth was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life and was always there for them. She and her family enjoyed countless vacations on the sea shore in Maine.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Robert D. Williams in 2011.

Surviving are her children; Michael (Vicki) Williams, Robert (Lolly) Williams, Raymond (Joyce) Williams and Ellen (Mitch) O'Neil; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jane Mertens; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday, March 1, 2018, at St. Augustine's Church with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are 4:00 pm to7:00 pm Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
