Obituary of Carole Jean Gaylord

Carole J. Gaylord, 73, of Clay passed away Saturday, February  17, 2018, at Syracuse Home in Baldwinsville. She was born in Syracuse to Robert and Mary Stevens Pendergast and lived most of her life in the Town of Clay. Carole worked on the farm that she and her husband Frederick owned for many years. She also was employed for 10 years as a supervisor for Toys R Us in Clay. She loved animals, riding horses on the farm, and gardening. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who touched many hearts of those she came in contact with.

Carole is survived by her husband of 54 years, Frederick V. Gaylord; her children, Michele (William) Moore, Kathleen (James) Elmore, Rebecca (Thomas) Bookman, Valerie Gaylord (Michael), and Frederick V. (Melissa) Gaylord, Jr.; her grandchildren, Michael, Destiny, Holly, Justin, Joshua, Elissa, Erin, Nathan, Jenna and Jaxson; great-grandchild, Jeremiah; her sisters, Barbara Barbur and Janet Loveless; brother William Pendergast; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 4:00pm – 7:00pm Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville, NY. Funeral services are at 11:00am Thursday, February  22, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial in Pine Plains Cemetery.
