Mary A. Pyle, 80, of VanBuren passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Syracuse , the daughter of Clifford and Margarite Young, and lived in the area all her life. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church and was a retired employee of General Electric after 35 years of service. Mary was an amazing quilt maker, loved traveling, floral arranging and most of all spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, James, her sister Linda Reistrom and brothers-in-law, Floyd Taylor and Gene Falter. Surviving are her children; Tammy L. (David) Mosher, James W. (Laura) Pyle, Jr., Thomas L. (Mary Beth Goudreau) , Ernest J. (Diane), and Curtis E. (Michele) Pyle; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Beverly Taylor, Joan (Paul) Precourt, Susan (William) Walsh, and Clea Falter; brother, William Young; brother-in-law, Gary Reistrom and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 4-7pm Monday, January 29, 2018, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am Tuesday, January 30, 2018, in St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd., Baldwinsville with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Warners Fire Department.
