Fannie "Ma Burns" Cathers passed away Friday at St. Luke Residential Health Care in Oswego She was born in Syracuse and was a longtime resident of Camillus. Fannie was employed at Syracuse China for 26 years. She loved Old Forge, the outdoors gardening and feeding birds. She was predeceased by her husband William Cathers and a granddaughter, Mickey Burns. Surviving are: sons, Michael (Carole) and Paul (Alice) Burns; daughter, Elaine (Francis) Klocek; stepdaughter, Wilma (Al) Wolf; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Calling hours are 4-7pm Thursday at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am Friday at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsvile with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Luke-John Foster Burden Fund, 299 E. River Rd, Oswego, NY or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN38105-9959.
