Obituary of Wilda R. Loos

Wilda Loos, 84, passed away Thursday with her family by her side. She was born in Syracuse to Earlean and William Farnsworth. Wilda graduated from N. Syracuse High School in 1950 and married John Loos in 1953. Wilda was an active member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church for more than 40 years, serving on many committees and altar care. She served on the church Council twice and was a shepard for 20 years. She was also a recipient of the Distinguished Servant Award.
Wilda is predeceased by her husband, John and son, Bradley in 2013.
Surviving are her daughters Jacqueline (Adrian) Christian of Cicero and Janet Kelly of Plymouth, MA; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Roger (Pam) Farnsworth of Liverpool; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 10 am Tuesday, May 23 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church 2840 Cold Springs Rd, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7 pm Monday, May 22 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be given to St. Mark's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 381, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 or to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave, Syracuse, NY 13208.
