William Ronald Baltzer, 90, passed away Sunday at Central Park Nursing Home in Syracuse, NY. Ronnie was a US Marine WWII Veteran; he was a recipient of the Asiatic Pacific Star, Victory Medal, and Purple Heart awards. After his service, he worked as a life insurance salesman for Metropolitan and was a delivery truck driver for many years until retirement.
Ronnie is predeceased by his wife, Gloria Darcangelo Baltzer.
He is survived by his children, Christopher (Renee) Baltzer, Gregory Baltzer, Rona Stock, Rita (John) Brantum, and Jeffrey (Norma) Baltzer; sister, Janet Collins; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Services are private.
