Shirley Slattery, 82, died peacefully at home Sunday surrounded by her family. She was born in Syracuse and was employed for many years with Snow Poultry and Hudson Poultry Farms. Shirley was a member of Warners United Methodist Church and a 4H Leader for many years. She was also one of the original members of the "Mother of Twins and Triplets Club" of Central NY. She is predeceased by her mother, Pearl Thayer, husband of 55 years, William J. Slattery, Jr., son, James Slattery, and sister, Eleanor Andrews. Shirley is survived by her children, Deborah (Larry) Lehman of Cato and Dorothy (William) Houser of Mattydale; grandchildren, Robert Lehman, Jessica Lehman, and Ashley Slattery; great-grandchildren, Davianna, David, Jalaya, and Aubree; siblings, Sandra Fleming of Baldwinsville, Richard Fleming of NC, and Skip Werner of AZ; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Thursday, March 23 from 10-12 pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St. Baldwinsville. A service will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Warners United Methodist Church, 6514 Canton St, Warners, NY 13164.
