Patricia Ann (Houser) Cayea, 85, of Baldwinsville passed away peacefully March 5, 2017. Born and raised in Onondaga Hill near Syracuse to Leslie Houser and Ethel (Gummer) Houser on December 18th 1931. She was predeceased by her parents and nine sibling; DeAlton, Albert, Robert , George, Florence, Ruth, Gladys, Alberta and Winifred also, her husband of 54 years, Ernest Cayea. Patricia is survived by her three children; John (Teri) Cayea, Cicero, NY, Michele (Peter) VanBuren of Baldwinsville, NY and James (Lynn) Cayea of Baldwinsville, NY; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Patricia was a devoted wife and mother and a care giver to her mother and her sister in their later years before they passed. She enjoyed knitting slippers in her earlier years as gifts for many people and she enjoyed baking cookies for holiday gifts and sharing them together with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Calling hours are Wednesday, March 8th from 3-6pm with a service to follow at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
