Obituary of Adelaide Helen Socker

Please share a memory of Adelaide to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Adelaide "Addie" (Radcliffe) Socker, 87, passed away at Crouse Hospital on Tuesday. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, to William and Isabella Radcliffe. Over the years, Addie held many jobs, but the most important to her was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid sports fan, and never missed a Syracuse University basketball or football game. Most who knew her were in awe of her abundant energy. If not on the golf course, she could be found line-dancing or bowling. But, most of all, Addie loved spending time with her grandchildren. Addie is predeceased by her parents, and her siblings, Gerard Radcliffe, William Radcliffe, Dorothy Keating, and Margaret Moen. Addie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Vitas Socker; children Kathy (Joe) Marchiony, Shawn (Wendy) Socker, Pat (Karen) Socker, Brian (Pamela) Socker; cherished grandchildren, Kirby, Matthew, Brianna, Jamus, Hannah, Ana, Colin, Sophie, and Jake; brother Arthur Radcliffe, and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, February 21 at St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. Calling hours will be held from 4-7 pm on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St. Baldwinsville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Addie to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 1200-A Scottsville Rd. Suite 100 Rochester, NY 14624.
