Annette F. Hammel, 71, of 116 Hunter Drive, Baldwinsville, died Monday at her home after a long Illness. A native of Buffalo, Mrs. Hammel lived in Syracuse 28 years. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville, and a former member of its Parents Club and Altar and Rosary Society. Surviving are her husband, Francis R.; three daughters, Suzanne Lee of Albany, Mary "Katie" Coburn of Carmel, California, and Annette "Nan" Hammel of Baldwinsville; two sons, F. Richard of Audubon, Pa., and James E. of Baldwinsville; a sister, Ruth Gleason of Lansdowne, Pa. ; a brother, Edward C. Burke of Jackson, Tenn.; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville, and 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St. Contributions may be made to the Caring Coalition.
