Mary and I worked together at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Mary's expertise and knowledge regarding business analysis, project management, and overall health care needs was a tremendous asset. Mary was always a delight to be around during business or pleasure. We enjoyed many laughs, dinners, lunches, and happy hours and let's not forget work sessions. Please know that I send my condolences to the family and friends. I will keep you in my prayers and may Mary rest in peace.

Glen and family--My condolences on the passing of Mary. She was a joy to work with and I'm saddened to hear the news. I recently had the opportunity to work with her again for a day trip to Rome, NY to see if we could help a VA clinic up there. It was so great to see her and experience her quiet wisdom once again. She was much respected across the VA and was so important in helping me start my business.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear of Mary's passing. We played golf together frequently and I enjoyed her company and her sense of humor. As a fellow nurse, we had "war stories" to share from the good old days! My deepest condolences to her family. She loved you all dearly and spoke often of her children and her grandchildren, RIP, Mary. I will miss you dearly! Fly high, beautiful lady!!

Dear Glenn and family. It saddens me to hear of Mary's death. I worked with her at the VA for many years, and knew her to be a wonderful nurse, smart, witty, a great instructor with incredible patience for persons like me who had little understanding of informatics. When I think of her I remember her great love of family which just barely surpassed her love of chocolate! Once when I was out of town for a VA conference I found a beautiful ceramic brownie, which I just had to buy for Mary. When I returned to work, I put the brownie on a paper plate with a plastic fork, and left it on her desk while she was at a meeting. Imagine her surprise and disappointment when she found it was not edible.

My sincerest condolences to Glenn and all of the family.
Mary epitomized all of the best of the nursing profession. I was proud to be her colleague for many years at the VA Medical Center. We worked together on many projects and committees.
Mary's humor, smile and the twinkle in her eye will be long remembered.
