It was so great to know Bill, I wish I had lived closer and could have talked to him more often. I am saddened by his passing, but feel blessed to have known him and been a friend.

To family and Friends of Bill:
Bill and I became acquaintances about 5 yrs ago when he use to come to the annual Syracuse Gem & Mineral Society picnics at Camillus Canal Park. Bill was the greatest when spinning a yarn of his experiences wiring buildings or either fishing or hunting or just enjoying the great outdoors. Full of life, as he told the tales so beautifully, he always was trying to smoke his pipe whereby he really smoked more matches in the relights than any tobacco.
Fellow member, Ruth Burgess and I had the pleasure of of a nice visit with him in the nursing home just 5 days prior to his passing. He was in great spirits, told how they were so good to him there and looked forward to returning to home fore too long. We were shocked to learn of his passing so soon after and will also miss him. You all have our deepest sympathy.

Steve, Mike, Kristin, and Lisa,
I am very sorry for your loss. I was sad to hear the news that your Dad passed. I actually have great memories of your Mom and Dad at your pond. My kids met "Uncle Bill" at my mom's wake and really enjoyed meeting him. Please know we are thinking of you.
Love,
Suzy and the Badman family

Bill was a good grandfather to my son, Austin, and a very sweet man to me. He could talk your ear off, but was always entertaining! Loved him from the day I met him in 1985. Steve and Austin have that same gift of gab! He will be missed. Rest in peace, Bill.
