I remember Helen well and fondly, her quick wit and ready grin, that throaty voice, and those knowing eyes - few could put one over on her! (And those eyebrows!~)
Helen will be missed, but recalled with a smile by those of us who knew her as friend and neighbor. She was a good woman and a fine member of a fine family that I always respected, and will remember all of the Allers that way.
Melanie: you were the light of her life, always; I know how proud she was of you growing up, and moreso now as your own family grows up.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all...
